STEHV and KEHV coach education course: Register now!

The Styrian Ice Hockey Association (STEHV) and the Carinthian Ice Hockey Association (KEHV) will each hold a special module of the coach education programme in September. All information on registration is available via the STEHV and KEHV links.

The course Coach Education Course - Special Module in Styria will take place from 2 to 4 September 2022 at Merkur Eisstadion Graz Liebenau.

In Carinthia, Ossiacher See Halle in Steindorf will host the aforementioned course from 24 to 25 September 2022.

Coach education has been standardised throughout Austria by Sport Austria and the three national sports umbrella organisations ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion.

The new system is based on a basic module covering non-sport-specific (general) topics, a special module with sport-specific information, and a 4-hour first-aid course completed within the past five years.

Only once all modules have been successfully completed is the coach education programme considered complete and the certificate issued.

Successful completion of the C-licence programme is a prerequisite for participation in the instructor training programme (B licence).
