Preseason: Goal and assist for Marco Rossi against the Dallas Stars
ÖEHV forward Marco Rossi once again put in an extremely strong performance in his second preseason game for Minnesota Wild. The Feldkirch native scored the opening goal to make it 1:0 in the 5:2 win over the Dallas Stars and set up another goal.

On the night leading into Friday (Thursday local time), Marco Rossi once again made his case for Minnesota Wild ahead of the new NHL season at Dallas' American Airlines Center.
The Vorarlberg native set the Wild on their way to a 5:2 win over the Stars with the opening shorthanded goal ten minutes in following a swift counter-attack. Rossi converted a rebound from Mason Shaw's shot at close range to make it 1:0 for Minnesota.
In the second period, Rossi, who was on the ice for a total of 18:11, including 4:08 on the power play and 1:57 shorthanded, set up Jonas Brodin's goal to make it 3:1.
Rossi named player of the game
Mats Zuccarello, Jared Spurgeon and Sam Steel scored the other Wild goals. Ty Dellandrea and Nils Lundkvist found the net for the Stars.
Rossi was named First Star of the game and now has four points in total (one goal, three assists) after two preseason games.
