YOG: Austria to face Kazakhstan for bronze
Less than 24 hours after Austria's U16 men beat Denmark 7:5 in the 3x3 tournament at the Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon (KOR), they lost 3:5 to the Scandinavians in the semi-final. Latvia won the second semi-final against Kazakhstan in a 19:5 goal fest, confirming the medal match-ups.

The players coached by Head Coach Florian Mühlstein led 2:1 after the first 15 minutes. Once again, they took too many penalties. Denmark capitalised on this in the middle period to take a 3:2 lead. In the final period, the Scandinavians eventually pulled away to 5:2 and ultimately prevailed 5:3.
Denmark will therefore face Latvia in the gold medal game, after Latvia swept Kazakhstan aside 9:1 in the opening period alone.
