Wukovits remains in Vienna

spusu Vienna Capitals are delighted to have extended the contract of another homegrown player. National team forward Ali Wukovits, the best Austrian scorer in the Vienna squad last season, will remain with his parent club.

"The joy is, of course, enormous. There is nothing better than being able to play in your home city, in front of the best fans in the league," said Wukovits. Following his contract signing, Wukovits will enter his fifth full season with the Vienna Capitals.

Patrick Antal (19), Timo Pallierer (19), Bernhard Posch (19), Armin Preiser (19) and Sebastian Wraneschitz (18) will also join Head Coach Dave Cameron's squad with immediate effect and receive professional contracts.

Just a few days after Stefan Geier extended his contract with EC-KAC, his twin brother Manuel has now followed suit and extended his deal with the Carinthians for another year. Like his brother, the veteran will therefore enter his 13th season with the "Rotjacken".

Villacher SV signed US defenceman Matt Mangene from the American Hockey League, while Innsbruck signed the two Canadian forwards Daniel Ciampini and Braden Christoffer.

New signing and contract extension at Black Wings Linz. While Julian Pusnik will also play for the Upper Austrians next season, Alexander Lahoda joins the club after two years with VSV. Following lengthy negotiations, the Upper Austrians were also able to agree a new contract with goaltender David Kickert.
