The Highlanders were looking to avenge their defeat almost a month ago and were the dominant team from the outset. Vanessa Picka gave the home side the lead in the 14th minute. Klagenfurt levelled through Carolyn Whitney in the middle period, but shortly afterwards the KSV women regained the lead as Marielle Dijkema made it 2:1. Sara Confidenti sealed the win with the 3:1 in the final period.

The Styrians therefore moved up to second place. In the final Placement Round match, the Highlanders even have the chance to take first place away to Sabres St. Pölten on Sunday.
