VSV Lady Hawks vs. Lakers Kärnten: First Carinthian derby in the win2day AWHL!
A special highlight is on the schedule in the win2day Austrian Women’s Hockey League this Wednesday: the first Carinthian derby. Following the VSV Lady Hawks’ entry into the AWHL and the European Women’s Hockey League, the Villach side will host Lakers Kärnten at Villach Stadthalle for the first time. The game will be broadcast live on the Women’s Hockey YouTube channel.

The VSV Lady Hawks have been competing in both the win2day AWHL and the EWHL since this season. Last weekend, they celebrated their first international victory – and did so in impressive fashion: the Villach side secured a convincing 5:0 win over Budapest Jegkorong Akademia.
The Carinthian derby now brings the first major showdown of the season for the Lady Hawks. Lakers Kärnten have already won two of their first four games and are currently narrowly ahead of their Villach rivals in the EWHL.
