VSV Lady Hawks defeat Lakers Kärnten in the first Carinthian derby in the win2day AWHL!
The VSV Lady Hawks celebrated a 4:2 victory over Lakers Kärnten in a high-quality first Carinthian derby at the Villacher Stadthalle in the win2day Austrian Women’s Hockey League, securing their first three points of their debut AWHL season after two defeats.

The Lady Hawks enjoyed a dream start, with Miljone scoring the opener after just 24 seconds. In an evenly matched contest, the score remained close for a long time before Baylee Kirwan equalised on the power play in the 39th minute. In the final period, the home side then set course for victory within just 87 seconds.
Klaudie Pietraszova and Miljone again made it 3:1. Although the Lakers pulled one back, Miljone completed her hat-trick with an empty-net goal to seal the 4:2 final score.
The Lady Hawks moved up to fourth place in the AWHL table, while the Lakers remain in third place.
