U20i, U18i & U13 begin the second cham­pi­onship phase after the November break

In the U13, EC-KAC have set the benchmark so far. Nine games, the same number of wins, a goal difference of 80:17. Their narrowest victory was the 3:1 win over "Rockit-Apfel" Graz99 Juniors. Due to the cancellation of the game against Steel Wings Linz, the Carinthian and Upper Austrian sides finished the phase with nine games each. All other teams played ten games. Graz99 Juniors were level on points with KAC in 2nd place, only having to concede to the Red Jackets' youth team. The top 6 after the phase will now play a one-and-a-half round-robin schedule in Division 1 during Phase 2, as will the teams placed 7-11 in Division 2. The teams in Division 1 will be competing for the best possible starting position for the quarter-finals following Phase 2. In Division 2, the remaining two playoff places are at stake.

EC Red Bull Salzburg's performances in the U18i to date have also been flawless. With the maximum possible points tally, they confidently finished Phase 1 in Division 1 in 1st place, a considerable 21 points ahead of EC-KAC. In Division 2, Alps Ice Academy secured top spot with 10 wins, one of them in overtime, and two defeats, ahead of EC iDM VSV.

The top 4 from Division 1, plus the Play Up/Down winners Alps Ice Academy and EC iDM VSV, will now play a double home-and-away round robin in Division 1 in Phase 2 for the best possible seeding for the quarter-finals. In Division 2 in Phase 2, the final two quarter-final places will also be decided in a double home-and-away round robin.

In the U20i, the Red Jackets are once again in 1st place. With just two defeats and a full ten-point lead over Icehawks Hockey Club, EC-KAC finished Phase 1 in Division 1 at the top of the table. The top 7 from Division 1, plus the Play Up/Down winners HD – mladi – Jesenice and Eishockey Akademie Steiermark, will now play a single home-and-away round robin in Division 1 in Phase 2.

In Division 2 in Phase 2, there is still one place available which qualifies for the pre-playoffs. There, the team will face the seventh-placed side from Division 1. A single home-and-away round robin will also be played in Division 2 in Phase 2.
