U20: Salzburg and Nordic Hockey Academy the early contenders
The Nordic Hockey Academy had already moved into second place in the table during the phase, behind the spusu Vienna Capitals at the time. The team from the federal capital slipped back in Phase 2 and ultimately finished in 4th place with six wins and ten defeats. Red Bull Salzburg, meanwhile, fought their way to the top. The Young Bulls now face the Okanagan Hockey Academy in the quarter-finals, who qualified for the playoffs as the final team, level on points with HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, who will take on the Nordic Hockey Academy.
Eishockey Akademie Steiermark comfortably qualified for the quarter-finals in Phase 2 Low 4. The Styrians went through the final weeks without defeat and will also prove difficult opponents in the playoffs. They will face Eishockey Akademie Oberösterreich in an academy derby.
The final quarter-final clash between the Capitals and EC IDM VSV also promises plenty of excitement. The record after Phase 2 is evenly balanced, with two wins apiece, and even when the meetings from Phase 1 are included, there is no clear favourite.

U15: Vienna vs. Carinthia
Based on the results from Phases 1 and 2, the spusu Vienna Capitals and Carinthia's two top teams, EC IDM VSV and EC KAC, have put themselves in pole position. Whether these teams can also progress to the semi-finals remains to be seen, naturally. The road will not be an easy one. The Caps will face the Haie, the Rotjacken take on EHC Lustenau, while the Adler meet Eishockey Akademie Steiermark. The final quarter-final pairing is Steel Wings Linz vs. SPG OHA/LAS.
It gets under way this weekend, and by 1 March at the latest we will know the semi-finalists.

U17: One week of preparation
While the U20 and U15 get their playoffs under way this Friday, the U17 have another week to prepare intensively for the decisive stage of the title race. EC KAC can harbour hopes of lifting the trophy. Just two defeats across Phase 1 and Phase 2 combined (!) speak for themselves. The Klagenfurt side's first hurdle in the quarter-finals is Okanagan Hockey Academy White. As in the U20, this age group will also feature an academy showdown between Styria and Upper Austria.
EC IDM VSV face HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, while spusu Vienna Captials take on Okanagan Hockey Academy Red.
