That is what you call dominance. The U18 team of EC KAC is clearly ahead after the first phase of the U18i Liga, having recorded just two defeats and 48 points from 18 games, ahead of the Okanagan Hockey Academy (37 points) from St. Pölten and Ujpesti Jegkorong Akademia (34 points) from Hungary.

Also among the top five are EC Red Bull Salzburg and Fehervar Hockey Academy, who will now continue in the Master Round until the beginning of February.

Particularly impressive after the first championship phase is the attacking power of the young Red Jackets, who have scored 105 goals in 18 games. Having conceded just 24 goals, their goal difference stands at +81.

In the Qualification Round, the clubs placed sixth to tenth will face one another. Based on the league standings, Budapest Jegkorong Akademia are favourites here. After 18 rounds, the Hungarians were level on points with fifth-placed Fehervar Hockey Academy, but lost the head-to-head encounter and narrowly missed out on a place in the top five.

Also competing in the Qualification Round are Vasas SC, DVTK Jegesmedvek Jegkorong Sp., the Eishockey Akademie Oberösterreich and DEAC Jegkorong Akademia.
