U18 women set to face Switzerland and Germany
Austria's U18 women's national team has two friendly matches on the schedule this weekend. In Füssen (GER), they face Switzerland on Friday at 11:00, before taking on Germany at 11:00 on Saturday.

The U18 Women's World Championship Division IA will take place in Egna, Italy, from 6 to 12 January. Head Coach Mario Bellina's team is preparing intensively, holding a training camp in Füssen this week, where they will face Switzerland and hosts Germany.
Head Coach Marion Bellina: "We are delighted to be taking part in this high-calibre tournament again and to be able to test ourselves against two A nations in Switzerland and Germany. In the short time available to us, we are working on our system and tactics. Above all, we want to find our lines."
The team earned promotion to Division IA in 2022 and retained its place last year. Now it is gradually time to fine-tune things, both to secure their place in the division again and to have a say in the promotion race. At the World Championship itself, they will face Japan, Italy, France, Hungary and Denmark.
