U18 National Team to play Slovenia in a friendly in Klagenfurt
On Sunday, the U18 Women’s Ice Hockey National Team will play an international friendly against Slovenia in Klagenfurt.

While the senior national team will compete in the World Championship Division IA from 21–27 April, the U18 team will get under way in just two months. Austria earned promotion to Division IA in 2022 and successfully retained its place in the division in 2023. From 6–12 January 2024, the team will once again battle to stay in the division or earn promotion to the Top Division in Italy against the hosts, Japan, France, Hungary and Denmark.
As part of their preparations, they will face Slovenia in Klagenfurt’s Heidi-Horten-Arena this Sunday. Face-off is at 12:40, with free admission. The game will also be streamed on LIVE.eishockey.at live.
