U16 women in action at the European Cup in Bratislava
Austria's U16 women's national ice hockey team will conclude the season at a high-calibre tournament in Bratislava (SVK). Eight teams from seven nations will compete on the two ice surfaces at the Vladimír Dzurilla Ice Stadium in Ružinov.

Hosts Slovakia will be represented by up to two teams. The U16 European Cup is primarily aimed at players born between 2009-2011, although each team may also field two players born in 2012. Alongside the Slovak teams, the national teams of Austria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, France and the Czech Republic will also take part, with the latter fielding a U15 team in Bratislava.
All participants will play three games in the main groups on 22, 23 and 25 April. On Friday, 26 April, the games for 7th, 5th, 3rd and 1st place will take place. Their composition will be determined by the order of the teams in the groups.
The Slovak Ice Hockey Federation is organising the tournament in cooperation with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Admission to all games is free.
