U16 Women celebrate 4:2 win over Norway to finish
Germany, Switzerland and Norway were the opponents at the Four Nations Tournament in Füssen (GER). Austria were beaten 1:3 by the hosts in Friday's opener, followed by a 0:2 defeat against Switzerland on Saturday, but they rounded off the tournament with a 4:2 victory over the Scandinavians.

Tomáš Kala: "We are very grateful to have been able to play in a tournament with such strong teams. We had several young players with us who were able to prove themselves and integrated well. We were able to improve several aspects of our game. The team improved from period to period, and that was confirmed against Norway in the final game. We are heading home with a good feeling," Head Coach Tomáš Kala summed up.
Austria put up a strong showing against every opponent. All three nations are in a higher division than Austria at U18 level. Germany and Norway play in Division IA, while Switzerland compete in the Top Division.
The win over Norway gave Austria another positive feeling heading into the end of the year.
