U16 national team to test itself at a strong Four Nations Tournament in Füssen
Austria’s U16 men’s national ice hockey team will take part in a high-calibre Four Nations Tournament in Füssen from 22 to 24 August 2024. Hosts Germany await in the opening game on Thursday at Germany’s federal training centre for ice hockey and curling. Switzerland and Slovakia are the other opponents.

The team camp and Four Nations Tournament in the Ostallgäu region will provide new U16 head coach Peter Schweda and his assistants Johannes Leitner and Maximilian Wehrhan (goalkeeping coach) with their first opportunity to assess the U16 squad and observe them on the ice against strong nations.
Following the opening match in the ever-young prestige clash against Germany on Thursday, Austria will face Switzerland in another prestige clash on Friday evening in the Bavarian border region with Tyrol. The ÖEHV selection will conclude with a Saturday matinee against Slovakia.
