U16 men's team fall to Germany in tour­na­ment finale

Head Coach Johannes Leitner: "It was the fourth training camp for this age group and the third tournament. We had a very good week of training, and the team performed well from day 1 onwards. This was despite having several absences to deal with, which the team handled very well. A big thank you to the entire staff, with Assistant Coach Diethart Winzig proving a clear asset on his debut. Overall, there was a clear improvement compared to November. The three matches, including the victories over Norway and France, represented an improvement on the previous tournaments not only in terms of results, but above all in terms of playing style and tactics. We in the coaching staff could clearly see the improvement. Today's defeat was not reflective of the training camp, but it was deserved. Nevertheless, we draw a positive conclusion, especially regarding the development. That makes us very positive about the future with this age group."
