U13 regional selection: ÖEHV/KEHV cooperation project gets under way this weekend
On Saturday and Sunday (6–7 September), the Austrian Ice Hockey Association, together with the Carinthian Ice Hockey Association and with the support of the national umbrella organisations SPORTUNION, ASKÖ and ASVÖ, will host the first camp as part of the new cooperation project, which will be rolled out across Austria in the future. The aim is for every federal state to field its own U13 state selection in the coming years.

In addition to club training, the players will regularly be brought together in the regional selection to support their development, assess performances, identify talent and establish a link to the national level.
Florian Mühlstein, ÖEHV Head of Youth Training and Development: “This initiative will give us an even better overview and allow us to identify talent more specifically later at U14 and U15 level. Above all, it gives our domestic talents the opportunity to improve their individual skills and compete against the best players in their federal state.”
