The Neuberg Highlanders secured the title in the 1st Dameneishockey Bundesliga with victory in the second leg of the final.

With a 6:4 victory in the first leg, KSV Neuberg Highlanders had put themselves in a strong position to win the 1st Dameneishockey Bundesliga.
In the second leg on Sunday in front of their home crowd in Kapfenberg, the Highlanders left nothing to chance. With a commanding 4:1 victory (2:1 (1:0,1:0)), the Styrians claimed the title.
Emily Even (8th) and Jennifer Pesendorfer (9th, 31st, 59th/PP) paved the way for the second victory over KMH Budapest, who had closed the gap to 1:2 through Regina Metzler (15th). From 7 March, Neuberg will then compete for the national championship title in the Austrian championship.
