HK Olimpija Ljubljana successfully defended its Alps Hockey League title.

HK SZ Olimpija Ljubljana are once again champions of the Alps Hockey League. The Slovenians beat Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey in the final by 3:0 wins.
After the "Dragons" had only managed to win the first two games in overtime, they secured a 4:1 home win in game three. Ljubljana are therefore the first team to defend their title in the AHL.
For Asiago, it was their second defeat in their third final appearance. The Italians won their only AHL title to date in the 2017/18 season. Ljubljana will not be able to claim a third consecutive league title, as the Slovenians will be part of the ICE Hockey League from next season.
