Tickets for the clash against World Cham­pi­onship oppo­nents Czechia!

The IIHF has decided: Austria's men's national ice hockey team will play at the World Championship in Finland. The preparation schedule for the opening weeks has been set, with the first team camp in Linz getting underway with a clash against six-time world champions Czechia. Tickets for the game on 8th April are available now HERE.

Austria last took to the ice against World Championship opponents Czechia in April 2021, suffering two defeats in the Euro Hockey Challenge – 0:5 and 2:7. At the 2019 World Championship, Austria were beaten 0:8 by their neighbours. Czechia were only eliminated by Canada in the semi-finals and narrowly lost the bronze-medal game to Russia, 2:3.

Testing against a nation such as Czechia ahead of a World Championship is always a privilege, as Head Coach Roger Bader underlines: "An absolute top nation."
