Theresa Schafzahl signs new two-year contract with Seattle Torrent
Seattle Torrent have secured three players for the next two seasons. Alongside Theresa Schafzahl, defenders Aneta Tejralová and Emily Brown have signed two-year extensions through the 2027/28 season.

Theresa Schafzahl was acquired by Seattle in a trade with Boston on 11 March. In eleven games for the Torrent, she scored two goals and added seven assists.
The 26-year-old was selected 39th overall by Boston in the inaugural PWHL Draft in 2023. She wrote her name into the club’s history books on 3 January 2024. In the 28th minute of Boston’s first PWHL game, she scored the first goal in franchise history to cut Minnesota’s lead to 2–1.
In 80 PWHL games overall, Theresa Schafzahl has recorded ten goals and 16 assists.
