Theresa Schafzahl scores her first goal of the season for Boston Fleet in the PWHL!

In the third match-up of the season with Ottawa Charge, Schafzahl scored from the left face-off circle after almost eight minutes of the opening period to give Boston Fleet a 1:0 lead. After the score was 2:2 after 60 minutes, Susanna Tapani scored the overtime winner for Boston to make it 3:2.

Playing away at TD Place in front of 5.458 fans, Theresa Schafzahl had two shots on Ottawa's goal and recorded a total ice time of 14:34 minutes. The 24-year-old Styrian now has three points (1 goal, 2 assists) from 18 games.

Anna Meixner has played 16 games in the top women's ice hockey league and has one goal. The Salzburg native was on the ice for 09:50 minutes against Boston, did not register a shot on goal but delivered two hits. Boston Fleet are fourth in the table with 28 points, six points ahead of Ottawa Charge.
