Talk & Trailer: Kick-off for the win2day Austrian Women’s Hockey League 2025/2026
The partner league of the win2day ICE Hockey League, the win2day Austrian Women’s Hockey League, begins its second season on Saturday, 20 September. In the opening game, defending champions Sabers St. Pölten travel to face the Lakers Kärnten. The game will be broadcast LIVE and FREE by new streaming partner Sporteurope.TV. All other fixtures will be available on YouTube as usual.

At the start of the season talk in the win2day studio, the new season trailer was presented: under the motto “Let’s crack the ice”, the players from the six teams head into the new campaign with confidence, a clear message and an awareness of their strengths.
Afterwards, Georg Wawer (Managing Director of title sponsor win2day), AWHL President and ÖEHV Vice-President Yasmin Stepina and national team player Charlotte Wittich looked back on the successful inaugural season and spoke about the future of women’s ice hockey in Austria.
