Register now for the Para Hockey Day in Innsbruck!

No Para World Championship Group C will be held in 2023. Austria's Para national team is using the time to fine-tune its game and promote the fastest team sport on ice. Following the Para Hockey Day held as part of the ÖEHV team camp in Zeltweg, another Para Hockey Day will take place in Innsbruck on 18 November 2023, from 12:30 pm to 13:20 pm.

The team led by Head Coach Lucas Herrnegger completed a two-day camp in the Styrian municipality in the Murtal district from 21 to 22 October.

The national team was last on the ice at the Olmütz Cup in the Czech Republic at the beginning of September, finishing seventh in a high-calibre tournament. “We can take a lot away from this tournament and have seen the level at which the top teams operate. The players were able to gain valuable experience and take the next step as well,” said Lucas Herrnegger, who was quite satisfied with the national team's performances.

Invitation to the Para Hockey Days

As in Villach in August, interested Para Hockey players and anyone who would like to become one have the opportunity to experience the fastest team sport on ice alongside the players and coaches of the Austrian Para Ice Hockey National Team. Following the first Para Hockey Day held as part of the team camp in Zeltweg, another Para Hockey Day will take place in Innsbruck on 18 November 2023.

All registered participants should meet one hour before the start of the on-ice training session. Participation is free of charge and equipment will be provided on site.
