Register now: 2022 IIHF eWorld Cham­pi­onship

Here is how it works:

The IIHF wants to give as many players as possible the chance to take part in the IIHF eWorld Championship 2022 and compete against the best players in the world on the virtual ice. To take part, only a few criteria need to be met:

✔ Hold the nationality of one of the participating countries
✔ Own an "Xbox One" or "PlayStation 4" version of NHL™ 22
✔ Be at least sixteen (16) years old

22 nations will take part in the new IIHF eWorld Championship 2022, and ice hockey and NHL™ 22 fans can represent their country on the virtual ice and lead it to the title! Austria is one of the participating nations, with the national squad for the IIHF eWorld Championship from the group stage onwards to be determined through the online qualifier. Sign up, register for the qualification and represent Austria on the digital ice!

Over the course of three competition phases, beginning with the qualifiers in mid-June, the first official IIHF eWorld Champion will be crowned in July 2022!
