The training series focused on preparing scorekeepers for the coming season. Thanks to the first-time cooperation with the respective regional associations, sessions could be held at several locations across Austria. Led by Martin Kogler, the training has so far taken place in Vienna, Carinthia, Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg, including one international session held in English.
A total of 178 people took part in the sessions held to date, significantly exceeding participation in previous years. The strong interest underlines the important role that scorekeepers and off-ice officials play in ensuring professional and smooth game operations in Austrian ice hockey.
The need for additional training dates in Styria, Upper Austria and Lower Austria is currently being assessed.
The Austrian Ice Hockey Association would like to thank all participating regional associations and everyone who attended for their successful cooperation and tremendous commitment.
