Posch, Würschl and Böhm called up

Due to several players carrying knocks, Head Coach Roger Bader has called up three players from EV spusu Vienna Capitals, who were eliminated in the semi-finals, for the first pre-World Championship preparation game against Slovenia tomorrow, Thursday, at 17:30 live on ORF Sport+.

“They are young players who all impressed in the playoffs. Bernhard Posch and Niklas Würschl were already involved in December, while I have already watched Mathias Böhm in the youth national teams,” explains Roger Bader regarding the call-ups.

To conclude the first team camp in World Championship preparation, the team will face Slovenia tomorrow, Thursday, who were promoted to the top division last year. Our neighbours’ squad already includes numerous players who are expected to feature at the World Championship.

“That is good, because we want to play strong opponents in preparation,” says Roger Bader , who has set three objectives for the opening friendly: “The players should show themselves at their best. Everyone will get ice time. We want to play our game, implement our tactical instructions and conclude the team camp with a win.”
