Playoff start in three age groups
Full focus on the quarter-finals. The U17, U15 and U13 playoffs, played in a best-of-three format, get under way this weekend. In the U11, the final tournament of final tournament series #3 takes place this weekend.

The Nordic Hockey Academy and EC Red Bull Salzburg were locked in a neck-and-neck race in Phase 2, which the NHA won by a single point. The quarter-finals begin on Saturday, with the Eishockey Akademie Oberösterreich facing the NHA, while Salzburg host the Okanagan Hockey Academy in their opener. There will be a Carinthian derby between EC-KAC and EC IDM VSV, while the Eishockey Akademie Steiermark vs. EV spusu Vienna Capitals match-up completes the quarter-final series. The top 4 teams from Phase 2 have home-ice advantage on Saturday and Sunday, with a potential deciding game away from home on Tuesday.
In the U15, EC IDM VSV finished in 1st place, level on points with SPG OHA/LAS. In the playoffs, VSV take on the Eishockey Akademie Steiermark, who, like HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, confidently secured their playoff place in Phase 2. The Tyroleans face SPG OHA/LSA. The Rotjacken host Steel Wings Linz this weekend, while the Capitals take on EC Red Bull Salzburg.
VSV's U13 also moved to the top of the table in Phase 2, doing so by a considerable margin. Ten points behind Villach, "Rockit-Apfel" Graz99 Juniors "schwarz" are in 2nd place, followed by EC-KAC and EC Red Bull Salzburg. EC IDM VSV give their fans a Carinthian derby in the quarter-finals against Ultras Spittal. Graz host the youth team from the federal capital, EC-KAC face EC Lower Austria Stars and Salzburg take on the Haie from Innsbruck.
