The bet-at-home ICE Hockey League has a new President. Jochen Pildner-Steinburg will take office following the decision of an internal arbitration tribunal until the 2020/21 General Assembly, the league announced in a press release.

In the original election at the extraordinary General Assembly in January 2020, the 72-year-old industrialist did not receive the required two-thirds majority, which is why Karl Safron led the league on an interim basis.

Like Rene Dimter and Dieter Knoll, he will support the new President as Vice-President. "I have been involved with this league from the very beginning and am looking forward to this new role. We will tackle the challenges ahead together and continue on the path of continuity," said Pildner-Steinburg, who will continue in his role as President of the Moser Medical Graz99ers.
