Para National Team: Season finale and new beginning in Ferlach
On 6 May, the Para ice hockey team met in Ferlach to wrap up the previous season and set the course for the coming campaign.

“On the one hand, it was the final training session of this season; on the other, it was also the first for the next campaign,” says Head Coach Lucas Herrnegger, who is pleased with the players’ development.
The new players in particular integrated well into the team, bringing energy to the squad and showing great potential. The team completed two on-ice training sessions and a demanding off-ice programme before being sent off for a well-deserved summer break, allowing them to recharge their batteries for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
The National Team’s season gets under way in Villach from 12–15 August, where Lucas Herrnegger and his team will launch the new campaign.
