Para national team made important strides in its development in Villach
Last weekend, the Para national team completed an important team camp in Villach, including a training session with the South Tyrol Eagles. Both teams were mixed with players from the other side for unofficial friendly matches, allowing further important strides to be made in the development of the domestic players.

"First of all, we must express our great thanks to the Italians for being almost always willing to train with us and play internal test matches. The training sessions are always of a very high standard and also show us what lies ahead if we are to reach this level," explains Head Coach Lucas Herrnegger.
In total, the national team completed three training sessions, one of them together with the South Tyrol Eagles. "They raise the level even further. Our players can learn a lot from them," said Herrnegger. In addition, the internal test matches provided an extra boost.
On Saturday, the Head Coach and the players were also available to interested visitors at the Parahockey Day, answering questions and demonstrating the world's fastest team sport. The next Parahockey Day is scheduled for October, when the national team comes together in St. Pölten for a team camp.
They will also play friendly matches against Finland.
