Para Ice Hockey National Cham­pi­onship Final: KAC wins the best-of-three series 2:0

KAC made a lightning start on both Saturday and Sunday. Sandro Kalegaris scored after just 33 and 11 seconds respectively, before making it 2:0 just a few minutes later. On Saturday, Michael Sauer pulled one back to make it 1:2, but the joy was short-lived. KAC extended their lead to 5:1 before the first intermission and subsequently dominated proceedings.

On Sunday morning, they also established a 3:0 lead in the opening 20 minutes. After an evenly contested middle period, they put the game beyond doubt with four goals in the final period. Graz proved awkward opponents in both games, but KAC were clearly the more efficient team in front of goal. Sandro Kalegaris in particular was unstoppable for the Styrians. With seven goals in the first game and six in the second, he was the clear match-winner for KAC.
