Para Ice Hockey Cham­pi­onship: Graz99ers chal­lenge KAC

Looking back:
There was little for Graz to take away from Klagenfurt at the end of January. They suffered two heavy defeats, 0:13 and 1:13. Klagenfurt's Sandro Kalegaris in particular was scoring goals for fun. For the Graz99ers, it was a painful lesson – but also a valuable experience. “We have analysed it. We know what went wrong and want to do better this time,” say the Graz camp, who are looking to provide an answer in front of their home crowd.

One reason for the one-sided results was that Graz had to do without several players in January.

KAC arrive as favourites, but Graz have prepared intensively in recent training sessions. This time, they do not intend to hand the ice over to the league leaders without a fight.

More than just watching:
The weekend in Graz offers not only top-class sport, but also the chance to lace up your own skates. On Saturday, 15 February, a Para Ice Hockey tryout will take place after the first game. Between 19:15 and 20:15, interested participants can take to the ice and experience the sport first-hand.

“Whether you already have experience or are completely new to Para Ice Hockey, we are looking to strengthen our team. The way onto the ice is open to everyone,” say Graz99ers Para Eishockey, warmly inviting all interested parties.
