Para Ice Hockey Championship gets the season under way: Can the Graz99ers stop KAC?
The action gets under way in Klagenfurt this weekend with a double-header! The Austrian Para Ice Hockey Championship is starting the new season. The 2024/2025 campaign marks a new beginning: the two participating clubs, now named KAC Para Eishockey and Graz99ers Para Eishockey respectively, will battle for the championship trophy.

Defending champions Carinthian Steelers Klagenfurt will now take to the ice as KAC Para Eishockey and Steirische Panther Graz as Graz99ers Para Eishockey. The Red Jackets and the 99ers will once again battle for the Austrian Para Ice Hockey championship title from Saturday.
The two teams have six double-header weekends, comprising a total of twelve games, to complete in the regular season until mid-February, with KAC Para Eishockey and Graz99ers Para Eishockey each hosting two games in a single weekend, before the title is decided in a "Best-of-Three" final.
The remaining double-headers will take place on 07 and 08 December 2024, shortly before Christmas on 21 and 22 December 2024, on 04 and 05 January 2025, on 25 and 26 January 2025, and on 15 and 16 February 2025.
