Para Hockey Day: Growth in Tyrol
Following the successful premiere of the Para Hockey Day in Villach last August, Zeltweg hosted the event in October, before it stopped in Innsbruck last Saturday, where it appears to have immediately attracted new participants.

Accompanied by two players from the Austrian Para national team, participants had the opportunity to get to know the fastest team sport on ice. The feedback was once again tremendous. In all likelihood, the Para family has even gained new members following this weekend.
"We are very satisfied with the event, even if interest was not as high as in Villach or Zeltweg. Naturally, we would have liked to see more people attend, but our primary aim was to raise awareness of and introduce para ice hockey in Tyrol. Some spectators watched everything from the stands. People usually come together through talking, so we will see what happens over the coming weeks. In any case, we are planning another taster day in spring 2024," explained the organiser and Team Manager of Para Team Austria Libor Fischer.
The Para national team's next training camp will be held in St. Pölten from 15 to 17 December, with friendly matches also planned as part of it.
