New team named "Kraken"

Ice hockey fans in Seattle now know the name their long-awaited NHL team will bear: Seattle Kraken!
In 2021/22, the team will enter the action in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference as the 32nd franchise. The name had recently emerged as the favourite. The logos, colour scheme and jerseys were also unveiled: an "S" for the city of Seattle, stylising a grim-looking octopus, is the primary logo – and it also features a tentacle.
The secondary logo combines the "Space Needle", Seattle's landmark, and an anchor. The franchise colours will be dark blue and turquoise, also referencing the waters of the Pacific. It had long been known that Amazon had acquired the naming rights to the renovated venue. It will be called "Climate Pledge Arena".
