Mutual agreement to part ways: ÖEHV management to be reorganised
ÖEHV is strategically realigning its office operations and will introduce fresh momentum, particularly in marketing, sponsorship, event management and sales. The Executive Board thanks Bernhard Friedrich for his tremendous commitment to the continued development of Austrian ice hockey. The new management team of the Austrian Ice Hockey Federation will be presented in the coming weeks.

Bernhard Friedrich took over the operational management of ÖEHV from Nikolaus Friedrich on 1 February 2022. Over the past three and a half years, the Carinthian has helped make ice hockey even more visible and therefore more accessible through live streaming as well as on television, through the partnerships with ORF & Krone. In addition, significant measures to improve quality were implemented under his leadership in the areas of event management and digitalisation.
The Austrian Ice Hockey Federation thanks Bernhard Friedrich for his commitment and wishes him all the best and every success for the future.
