Move on to Inclusion provided support at the final World Championship warm-up

Last Sunday, 4 May, MOI – Move on to Inclusion made its third appearance in Vienna. Project manager Marcel Weigl and his volunteer team of people with special needs were on hand at our final World Championship warm-up against Canada at the Steffl-Arena.

On the ice, the record world champions prevailed 5:1, while every spectator was also a winner at the Vienna Capitals stand run by MOI. In the Lucky Shot, participants had the chance to win two tickets for a home game in the upcoming 2025/2026 season using a genuine ice hockey stick and puck.

All participants received a key ring as a consolation prize. “We would like to thank Bernhard Friedrich and the ÖEHV for this great assignment for our team and for the cooperation,” said Marcel Weigl. The helpers, who were also able to watch the game, had tremendous fun!”

“The MOI volunteers were a great help and also an asset at our home game in the sold-out Steffl Arena. We would also like to thank them for their tremendous commitment and look forward to continuing this cooperation,” explains ÖEHV Managing Director Bernhard Friedrich.
