League newcomers KHL Sisak took over top spot in the Alps Hockey League with their victory and will remain there throughout the entire International Break. The Croatians won 4:1 against EC Kitzbühel in the only game on Saturday evening.

KHL Sisak continue to make waves in the Alps Hockey League. The league newcomers from Croatia moved to the top of the standings for the first time after a 4:1 victory over Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, despite having played three fewer games than their nearest challengers. In the top-of-the-table clash against Kitzbühel, Sisak took the lead with two power-play goals in the middle period after a scoreless opening period. Kitzbühel did pull one back in the final period, but Sisak ultimately prevailed 4:1.
