Kainberger on World Championship duty
Austrian official Julia Kainberger has been nominated for the IIHF Women's World Championship in Canada.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, only three IIHF World Championships will be held this spring. These are the respective top divisions in the women's (in Canada) and men's (in Latvia) categories, as well as the U18 age group (in the USA).
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has appointed the officials for the Women's World Championship, which will be played from 6 to 16 May in the cities of Halifax and Truro, and for the U18 World Championship in Frisco and Plano, Texas, from 26 April to 6 May.
Julia Kainberger will be the Austrian lineswoman at the Women's World Championship in Canada. A total of twelve head referees and ten lineswomen have been appointed for the tournament.
