It all gets under way this weekend! Panel discussion on the Alps Hockey League anniversary season
The Alps Hockey League gets its new season under way on Saturday, 20 September. 13 teams will take part in the cross-border league's tenth season. The 2025/2026 season schedule initially provides for 36 regular-season games per team. The opening round includes a repeat of the final between defending champions EK Die Zeller Eisbären and SIJ Acroni Jesenice. There will be an interesting panel discussion to mark the start of the season.

The Alps Hockey League begins its tenth season on 20 September. Ahead of the season opener, Nicolas Stockhammer, Chairman of the AHL Board of Governors and ÖEHV Vice-President, AHL Commissioner Michael Suttnig and Max Wilfan of EK Zeller Eisbären discussed the league's development, upcoming challenges and expectations.
