IIHF Assignments: Austria’s referees nominated for a range of annual highlights
Austria’s top referees will be in action across all age categories and at almost every major event in the coming months. Among others, Anja Klemm will be officiating at the U18 Women’s World Championship in Finland directly after the turn of the year, while Julia Kainberger will be at the Olympic qualifying tournament in Gavle, Sweden, in February.

Whether U18, U20 or senior level, whether Top Division, Division IA, IB, IIA, IIIB or Olympic qualification, Austria’s referees are in action across Europe and around the world. The most closely watched events will likely be the U20 World Championship Division IA in Bled (SLO), the U18 Women’s World Championship Top Division in Vantaa (FIN), the Olympic qualifying tournament in Gavle (SWE), the U18 Men’s World Championship Top Division in Frisco (USA) and the Men’s World Championship Division IA in Sfantu Gehorghe (ROU).
A total of 15 referees have been nominated for the same number of major events.
