Ice hockey calendar: Austria's World Cham­pi­onship appear­ances in the 2025/2026 season

Austria's U20 Men's National Ice Hockey Team opened the World Championship season in December at the U20 World Championship Division IA in Bled (SLO) and ultimately finished third.

Austria's U18 Women's National Ice Hockey Team competed at the U18 World Championship Division IB in Katowice, Poland, at the beginning of January and ultimately finished third behind China and Poland.

Austria's Para Ice Hockey National Team will again compete in Pool C in April/May 2026 – the exact date and venue have yet to be announced. 

Austria's U18 Men's National Ice Hockey Team will compete for promotion back to the U18 World Championship Division I, Group A from the end of April in the U18 World Championship Division I, Group B in Tallinn (Estonia).

Austria's Women's National Ice Hockey Team will play in the top division for the first time following their historic promotion in November 2026 at the 2026 IIHF Women's World Championship in Denmark. One group will play in Herning, while the other group will be held in Esbjerg. The schedule has yet to be announced.

Austria's Men's National Ice Hockey Team will compete in Group A in Zurich from 15 May 2026 at the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. Head Coach Roger Bader aims to build on the sensational 2025 World Championship in his home country, where the team finished eighth after reaching the quarter-finals, recording its best World Championship result since 1994.
