Ice Hockey Calendar: Austria’s World Cham­pi­onship appear­ances in the 2023/2024 season

Austria’s U20 Men’s National Ice Hockey Team opened the new World Championship season at the U20 World Championship Division IA in Budapest in December 2023 and finished fourth. Austria’s U18 Women’s National Ice Hockey Team was once again in action at the U18 World Championship Division IA. The tournament was held in Neumarkt/Egna, Italy, where the ÖEHV team finished fourth.

Austria’s Women’s National Ice Hockey Team finished fourth at the Division IA World Championship at Klagenfurt’s Heidi Horten Arena.

Austria’s U18 Men’s National Ice Hockey Team competed in the U18 World Championship Division I, Group A, following promotion. The tournament was held in Frederikshavn, Denmark, where the ÖEHV team sensationally won the bronze medal.

The season highlight was the World Championship in Czechia in May 2024, where Austria’s Men’s National Ice Hockey Team competed in Group A in Prague and finished tenth after sensational games against Switzerland, Canada, Finland and Norway.
