Gregor Biber signs entry-level contract with Utah Mammoth

"It's of course an incredible feeling when it's public and you know it's over. It's a dream that comes true. I think every ice hockey player works towards that," beams Gregor Biber. He can currently enjoy a break at home, and at the end of June he will head over to North America for the development camp for the first time. "I've already done that for the last two years. I know what to expect," says the defender.

At the end of August and beginning of September the final move will take place, the rookie camp will begin and then the main camp. "I'm looking forward to getting to know everything over there, the franchise and the facilities. Now I'm looking to put my foot down in the summer and have a really great first year over there."

The goals for the next three years have also already been defined: "The first goal is that I feel comfortable. Ice hockey in North America is quite different than in Europe. I think that I can find my way around there quite well and that I will certainly be able to play in the NHL in the three years to show what I can do. That's the big goal in the next three years, to get into the NHL. I've got a great team in Utah. I'm very positive."
