“It is really enjoyable and I am pleased to have reached one hundred minutes. I am very happy and looking forward to continuing here,” explains Gregor Biber.
He made his SHL debut in the home game against Frölunda, where he played a total of 2 minutes and 22 seconds. Since then, Gregor Biber has been given more and more ice time, most recently playing more than 17 minutes in the home game against MoDo.
“It has been a very nice experience so far to play in front of a full home arena and feel that it really is a hockey city. It also feels very good within the team. Things could not be better at the moment,” says Gregor Biber.
The defenceman spent his first junior years with KAC before moving to Rögle and Ängelholm last season. At the time, he played mainly for Rögle’s U20, but has now made the step up to the senior team.
Gregor Biber: “Of course, I had it in the back of my mind, but I never thought it would happen so quickly. It is a great feeling. I will try to play as much as possible, continue to develop and always give my best.”
