The ÖEHV selection gathered for a camp in Klagenfurt this week to assess the squad featuring players born between 2011 and 2013. Head Coach Matthias Plattner’s team played two friendlies against a Bavarian selection at the Sepp-Puschnig-Halle on Saturday and Sunday. Bavaria claimed the first match comfortably, winning 6:0 on Saturday.

Bavaria led 8:0 after two periods on Sunday morning before Austria scored twice in the final period. First, Laura Nistelberger finished off a superb solo effort to make it 1:8 (at 43), before the second goal came on the power play, with Emilia Mosser turning the puck over the line for 2:8 (at 46/PP1). This at least gave Austria the final period by a 2:0 scoreline.
