From the USA to Bulgaria – Austrian referees on inter­na­tional duty

Julia Kainberger has been on duty in Utica (USA) for just over a week in the highest World Championship category, the Top Division, while Anja Klemm has already returned from the IIHF ICE HOCKEY WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Div. II, Group B. Wolfgang Puff, Matteo Moidl, Sebastian Bedynek and Maximilian Gatol-Schafranek will be in action in the coming weeks.

It is World Championship time in ice hockey. The women's title is currently being contested in the USA. Julia Kainberger is on the ice there as a referee and was immediately assigned to officiate the opening game between Denmark and Sweden, as well as the USA's 6:0 win over Czechia and Finland's 5:2 victory over Switzerland. The quarter-finals begin on 11 April, followed by the semi-finals on 13 April and the final on 14 April.

Matteo Moidl gets underway this Sunday at the IIHF ICE HOCKEY U18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Div. I, Group A in Frederikshavn (DEN), where Austria's U18 team will also be competing.

Sebastian Bedynek will be on duty from 17 to 23 April at the IIHF ICE HOCKEY U18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DIV. II, Group A in Sosnowiec (POL). The IIHF ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DIV. II, Group B takes place in Sofia (BUL) from 22 to 28 April with linesman Maximilian Gatol-Schafranek, followed by the IIHF ICE HOCKEY U18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP from 25 April to 5 May with linesman Wolfgang Puff.

Anja Klemm has already returned from the international stage after serving as a lineswoman at the IIHF ICE HOCKEY WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Div. II, Group B in Istanbul (TUR).
