Frölunda back in the final
The Frölunda Indians are chasing their fourth Champions Hockey League title. Mountfield HK of the Czech Republic have reached the final for the first time.

Defending champions Frölunda Indians from Gothenburg, Sweden, and Mountfield HK from Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic, will contest the Champions Hockey League 2019/20 final.
Frölunda won 3:1 away to fellow Swedish side Lulea in the second leg of the semi-final on Tuesday, successfully avenging their 2:3 home defeat. Frölunda are therefore in the final for the fifth time overall, with the European crown at stake.
Mountfield HK also won their second meeting with Djurgarden Stockholm 3:0, having already beaten them 1:3 away from home. In the group stage, Frölunda and Mountfield also faced Moser Medical Graz99ers. The Styrians opened their campaign with a surprise 6:5 shoot-out victory over the Swedish record CHL champions.
The final between Frölunda and Mountfield will take place in the Czech Republic on 4 February – for the first time in CHL history. Having accumulated more points over the course of the season, Mountfield earned home-ice advantage for the final.
