In the early hours of Tuesday, Michael Raffl and the Philadelphia Flyers recorded a 6:5 home win over the Boston Bruins in the NHL after a shootout. Hayes (19nd), Sanheim (22nd, 53rd), Couturier (34th) and Bunnaman (35th) scored for the hosts. Bjork (5th), Krejci (17th/PP, 28th)), Pastrnak (21st) and Coyle (25th) scored for the visitors.
Travis Konecny converted the only penalty in the shootout. Raffl logged 14:26 of ice time but did not register a point.
The defeat sees Boston (66 points) lose top spot in the Eastern Conference, which is now led by the Washington Capitals (67). The team from the capital claimed a 2:0 home win over the Hurricanes.
